About Ms. Butler...

My name is Christina Butler. I am a native to Arizona and grew up in a small town in the White Mountains. My family had a small ranch where I was able to learn the value of hard work and responsibility. 

 

In the small town that I lived in, we had a one room school house. One of my favorite memories from this time was of a very special teacher who believed in me. This teacher always went the extra mile to work with me on understanding assignments. He even took time out of his busy schedule to come to my college graduation. Having this wonderful example in my life helped me to choose the education field as my career. 

 

I have now been teaching for over twenty years and have found much satisfaction with being able to help children see their potential. In 2005, I moved to Bagdad to accept a teaching position at the Elementary school. Teaching in a small school has been a very rewarding experience for me and I am grateful for the opportunity to teach in Bagdad.
